Grounded, not guessing
Every answer names its source: a dap.com FAQ, a data sheet, a warranty line, or a DAP support reply. Made-up product advice is worse than no advice.
On the job since 1865
DAP's experts are good. They are also human, and humans sleep. This assistant answers the repeat questions 24/7, straight from DAP's own FAQs, data sheets and support replies, and hands the hard ones to a person.
Online now. Answers cite their source.
How this demo works: it is rule-based on purpose. Each answer is matched to a knowledge base entry written from DAP published material, and the source rides under the answer. Nothing is improvised. A production version would ground an AI assistant in the same FAQ and TDS corpus, with the same rule: cite it or do not say it. Gorilla's 24/7 AI assistant proves shoppers use this. DAP's expert knowledge is deeper. It just is not available at 11 pm before a Saturday job.

The question set comes from the 1-star reviews: cracking, washing away, mold, clear that stays white, claims that go nowhere. Answer them here and they never become reviews.
Anything outside the base gets a straight "I do not know" and the technical service number, 888-327-8477. The assistant clears the simple queue so experts handle the real problems.
